Health
disparities are differences in the incidence, prevalence, mortality,
and burden of diseases and other adverse health conditions that exist
among specific population groups in the United States. Much
additional information on health disparities is provided in reports
that are summarized in our Racial and Ethnic Health Channel, and much
data documenting racial and ethnic health disparities is provided in
various tables in our Section on Health Trends by Health Power.
